Risography

24.10.2026
09:00–12:00

Discover risography, a creative and eco-friendly Japanese printing technique.

Combining elements of screen printing and offset printing, risography is renowned for its vibrant colours, distinctive layered effects, and the unique character of every print. Developed in Japan in the 1980s by Riso Kagaku Corporation, it has become a favourite medium for independent publishing, illustration, graphic design, and poster printing.

During this introductory workshop, you will explore the history of risography, learn how the process works, understand its technical features, and discover best practices for preparing and printing your own designs. By the end of the session, you will be able to use the risograph independently while experimenting with the creative possibilities this printing method offers.

At the end of the workshop, you will leave with a collaborative print, a practical guide to support your future projects, and the certification required to use the risograph independently in our «Bureau culturel».
